Gamified habit tracker: Track habits. Your hero levels up.
In this gamified habit tracker, ticking a habit levels up two things: your hero, for today’s run, and your life skills, for good.
-
Novice
from level 1
-
Apprentice
from level 15
-
Adept
from level 50
-
Hero
from level 150
-
Champion
from level 450
-
Legend
from level 1000
Tag every habit by hand? Nothing to tag. Just type it.
Other habit apps often ask for a category, stats, a difficulty or tags for every habit. Here you type the habit, and its skills craft themselves.
AutoSkills reads the title and picks one to three of the seven life skills, 15 to 25 points each: the sheet says “Crafting skills”, then “Skills ready”. There’s no skill picker. Rename a habit and its skills follow the new name.
AutoSkills works within a weekly allowance. Once it’s used up, new or renamed habits get no skills until Monday, and they still score 10 Chips, the points a tick adds to today’s run.
A habit is just an action that repeats daily, weekly or monthly, forever or a set number of times (more on the daily to-do list). One-off tasks score the same way, so it doubles as an RPG to-do list (see how a gamified to-do list scores). Got a big goal instead? Smart Goals, the app’s built-in goal planner, turns it into ready-to-go actions.
Seven life skills. Levels that never reset.
Every skill AutoSkills picks is one of these seven, each in its own colour:
- Health : workouts, sleep, nutrition & self-care
- Mind : learning, reading, meditation & focus
- Family : partner, kids, parents & home care
- Social : friends, community & networking
- Career : work goals, skills & productivity
- Finance : budgeting, saving & investing
- Creativity : art, music, writing & making
Each skill keeps its own XP and level, and the Your Build radar shows which skills your actions train most. Tap a skill to see its level, the XP to the next one and what it grows with.
Skill levels never reset, even though the day’s run does.
Can’t see your progress? From Novice to Legend.
Six ranks to climb every day: Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Hero, Champion and Legend. Each rank is its own character, and reaching one shows the New Character card.
The whole app recolours as you climb: brand orange at Novice, then green, blue, purple, coral and gold. Your app levels up with you.
Hero’s Path, a tap away on Profile, lets you swipe through all six (“Six ranks await — each unlocks a new hero”) and shows how far the next one is. Every day starts a fresh run from Novice; see how the daily run works for the levels each rank needs.
Each morning, yesterday’s run turns into Silver (the higher your rank, the more), and Silver buys Jokers, perks that change how your days score: see how rewards work.
Missed a day? A bad day isn’t game over.
One streak for every day you show up, not one per habit: a day counts when you complete at least one action, and it ends at local midnight.
A Streak Freeze covers one missed day. It costs 10 Silver in the shop’s Supplies, and you can hold up to two. In the shop’s words: “Shields your streak for one missed day. Used automatically on your next claim.” Miss a day without a freeze, or two or more days in a row, and the streak resets.
Lost your streak? Here’s what stays
Your Silver, your Jokers and their levels, your skill levels, your actions and your goals. One honest catch: a shorter streak can close loadout slots until it grows back. The Jokers in them go inactive; they’re never deleted.
Tomorrow is a fresh run.
What a streak unlocks: Day 1 to Day 100.
The longer your streak, the more it opens, day by day:
-
Day 1: The streak starts
Your first completed action starts it, and your loadout has one slot for a Joker.
-
Day 5: A second Joker slot
Two Jokers in your loadout instead of one.
-
Day 7: +3 Silver
A one-off bonus on top of the next morning’s Silver.
-
Day 30: A third slot opens
Your loadout’s last slot. Mirror Fool and Dragon Hoard unlock in the shop, and you get +7 Silver.
-
Day 100: +15 Silver
And Iron Routine, the Joker that adds Mult (your score’s multiplier) for every streak day, reaches its 100-day cap.

Forget to open the app? Your streak on your home screen.
A free home-screen widget: small on iPhone, 2×2 on Android. It’s on fire once you’ve completed an action today and frozen while your streak is at risk, so a glance says whether today still needs a tick.
It flips at local midnight without opening the app (Android can take up to about 30 minutes to repaint). It shows your streak; it can’t tick actions. To add it, search the widget picker for “ActionReward” or “Streak”. There’s no lock-screen widget and no other size.
No feedback beyond today? Your week, graded.
Every week, the Weekly Coach gives your week a letter grade, from S and A+ down to C−, with a short story of the week, your wins and a focus for next week.
It’s a coach that can’t make up your numbers: claims, active days and goals done are counted from what you ticked, and the Coach only grades and narrates. It’s included within the weekly allowance, and Profile keeps your last seven weeks.
Share the grade as an image; tasks stay private.
Questions, answered.
What is an RPG habit tracker?
A habit tracker where finishing habits levels up a character: part tracker, part habit game. In ActionReward every tick scores, seven life skills level up for good, and every day has six ranks to climb, each with its own character. How every tick scores
Do I have to set up stats or categories for each habit?
No. Type the habit and AutoSkills picks one to three of the seven skills from its title, within a weekly allowance. When the allowance is used up, new habits get no skills until Monday and still score 10 Chips.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your Silver, Jokers and skill levels stay. If you hold a Streak Freeze (10 Silver, hold up to two), one missed day is covered on your next claim. Miss a day without one, or two or more in a row, and the streak resets, which can close loadout slots until it grows back.
Does each habit get its own streak?
No: one streak counts the days you complete at least one action.
Is the widget free, and what does it show?
Yes, it’s free: small on iPhone, 2×2 on Android. It shows your streak, on fire or frozen, and flips at local midnight on its own (Android can take up to about 30 minutes). It can’t tick actions, and there’s no lock-screen widget.
Is my data private?
Your data stays yours. No ads, no third-party analytics, and share cards never show your tasks. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings. Each smart tool sends only what it needs (AutoSkills, for one, reads only an action’s title), and the Privacy Policy lists exactly what each one sends. Privacy Policy, section 6
Can I play with friends?
It’s single-player. You can share a run card or your weekly grade as an image, and your tasks stay private.
